PRIVATISATION & DISINVESTMENT

The government will sell a part of its holding in LIC through an Initial Public Offer.   The government also plans to sell the balance of its holding in IDBI Bank.

DEFENCE

The Ministry of Defence has the highest allocation in 2020-21, at Rs 4,71,378 crore.  It accounts for 15% of the total budgeted expenditure of the central government.

SCRAPPAGE POLICY
