Muhammad Shah was also called Rangeela Badshah.

Apart from his name “Rangeela Badshah”, he was also named as “Muhammad Shah Rangila“,  “Bahadur Shah Rangila” and also Sada Rangila.

These names were given to him because he was a great patron of the arts, including musical, cultural and administrative developments.
