There are three goldfields in the country, namely Kolar Gold Field, Kolar district, Hutti Gold Field in Raichur district (both in Karnataka), and Ramgiri Gold Field in Anantpur district (Andhra Pradesh).
Karnataka is the largest producer of gold in India.
