Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, also called Thiruvaranga Tirupati, is one of the country’s most illustrious Vaishnav temples, dedicated to Ranganatha, a reclining form of Hindu deity, Bhagwan (God or Lord) Vishnu.
Located in an etheric environment on Srirangam island.
The two rivers of Cauvery and Kollidam (Cauvery’s tributary) are bounded by this.
The living temple and the holy pilgrimage center are considered among the first and foremost 108 Divya Desams dedicated to Vishnu Bhagwan.
The height of Srirangam temple is 70m.
